Suanne Bone, Executive Director
Suanne Bone is the Executive Director of Our Sisters Keeper, Inc. Suanne graduated from Cumberland University in 1996 with a major in Social Science, minoring in Political Science. She graduated from South Eastern Paralegal Institute in 1997 and the Nashville School of Law in 2003. In the Spring of 2020, Brittany approached Suanne regarding the prospect of founding Our Sisters Keeper. Since then, the two created the 501(c) 3.
Jeff Cherry
Jeff Cherry is the Managing Member of Lowery, Lowery & Cherry, PLLC. He obtained his B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University in 1990 and his Juris Doctorate from the Nashville School of Law in 2001. Mr. Cherry was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2001.
He was on three occasions awarded the Exemplary Service Award for his daily commitment to excellence in carrying out his assigned duties.
Brittany Davis Deatherage
Brittany Davis Deatherage is originally from Pulaski, TN. She is a 2009 graduate of MTSU with a major in Political Science and a 2016 graduate of Nashville School of Law. Brittany spent approximately 10 years working at the TN Legislature doing a variety of jobs. Brittany began her time at the Legislature as a Bill Clerk and eventually moved into lobbying. Brittany is now an Assistant Public Defender of the 15th Judicial District - Office of Public Defender Shelley Thompson Gardner. She is assigned to Smith County and represents the indigent criminal accused in Juvenile, General Sessions and Circuit Courts.
Shelley Gardner
A graduate of Cumberland University and the Nashville School of Law, Ms. Gardner is the District Public Defender for the 15th Judicial District.
Her office serves Jackson, Macon, Smith, Trousdale and Wilson Counties. She has been with the Public Defender’s Office for over 20 years helping individuals in some of their greatest times of need.
Stephanie Hollis McCaleb
As a lifetime Lebanon resident, Stephanie Hollis McCaleb has a heart for all things local.
Stephanie is a graduate of Lebanon High School and later attended Cumberland University. Stephanie has worked in local government for over fifteen years and currently serves as District 3 County Commissioner for Smith County. You can find Stephanie all over town as she works for the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce.
Carl Hudson
Carl Hudson is a native of Smith County, Tennessee who attended Castle Heights Military Academy from 1984 -1986 and graduated from McCallie School of Chattanooga in 1989. He graduated with a double major in Finance and Real Estate from Southern Methodist University in 1993.
Winnie Hunt
Winnie Hunt has been a member of Our Sisters Keeper team for three years. She is the Visitation Coordinator for the Smith County Sheriff’s Department, where she strives to make all feel welcomed.
Winnie is also an active member of the St. Peter Apostle Church in Carthage.
Angel Kane
Angel Kane has been practicing law since 1995. While in law school Angel was a member of the University of Memphis Law Review and served as a judicial law clerk for Chancery Court. Upon graduation, she practiced with the law firm of Crislip, Philip & Associates in the areas of creditor’s rights, family law, wills and business litigation.
Russell E. Parrish

Lisa Tomlinson
Lisa A. Tomlinson is an 8th generation Wilson Countian and was raised outside of Lebanon on a working tobacco and cattle farm. She was educated in the Wilson County School System, and graduated cum laude from Cumberland University in 2000 with a BA in Criminal Justice and Public Administration and a minor in Psychology. She graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 2005.
